Amla Payasam 🍈
My Naive attempt in the making of Amla Payasam.
Since childhood we have been listening and studying about the outstanding health benefits of Indian Gooseberry.
It is said that 1 Amla = 10 oranges.
So today I m making the Chawanprash of Amla.
1. We will be boiling amla in pressure cooker ( I am using 1 Kg) with little amount of water wait for 2 whistle.
2. Remove the seed out of it .
3. Add ghee in the kadhai and with bay leaf + soaf . Add the boiled amla and stir it for 10 minutes.
4. Add jaggery (the same quantity of amla i.e 1 kg here).
5. Add dry fruits + cardamom + cinnamon + blackpepper.
6. Stir it till it become thick mixture.
Add amla in your diet.
