From Soil to Plate 🍽 Spinach 🌱 ~ The Functional Food 🥗

Continuing the Subsistence organic farming. 

Today I will be making easy to make Spinach veggies straight from the Garden. 



Spinach ( Paalak )

The lush green leaves are really good for health and can be used in any way you want even as salad.
The plus point of this crop is that it can be grown on all soils but sandy loam soil having pH 7.0 is best for its growth. 

After plucking we will be washing it properly. 




After cutting we will put it inside the pressure cooker. 



Just after 1 whistle we will be taking out the spinach. 




Now we will be grinding it in the mixture after taking out the thicker part for less than a minute. 



Now for tadka we will taking the basic + chana(which again is extremely healthy) 
You can also add paneer.




Mix well + salt. 





The fiber in spinach helps in weight loss.
The iron deficiency can be rectified by eating spinach. 
It reduces Hypertension. 
Good for eyes and skin.
End number of benefits. 


But if you have any issue regarding kidney do avoid it.
