Sattu - The Poor Man's protein 🥤

 Nothing is as better for body as natural food whose composition we are sure about. 

Market is flooded with ready to eat food which everyone claims to be the All in one superfood. 

Some of them might be but our priority should be to eat maximum real food whose composition and constituents are well known to us. 


Chana ( gram) which is easily available in market, when roasted , husked off and grinded becomes Sattu.


One of the easiest way to consume it is to make sharbat out of it by adding salt, onion, cumin powder , jaljeera powder and lemon. 

After adding all this it becomes really tang tasty drink.

It is widely being used in making Litti , even in parathas.


Sattu porridge ( satua as said in Bhojpuri) is widely being eaten by local farmers. 


Rich in Iron , Magnesium, Manganese it provides instant energy and prevent us from heat stroke. 


The rich insoluble fiber is boon for the intestine.
