B is for Besan ke Ladoo ❣

 


Preparing 'Bhog' on your own gives different level of satisfaction. 


Made with chickpea flour, ghee, sugar, cardamom, cashew, nuts.

The raw chickpea flour roasted till it become Little brownish. 

You will have to stir continuously for almost half an hour on low flame applying Little amount of ghee.

Meanwhile we can roast the dry fruits differently and add on later.

Meantime nice aroma will start coming out add sugar there after.

Now try to make roll balls when it is warm and your palm is able to handle and take up the heat.


Do not worry if the shape is not perfectly round as what matters is taste.


One besan ladoo comprises of approx  307 calories.

Besan has got more good fat than whole flour and higher protein content. 

Rich in complex carbohydrates with low glycemic index.

High in folic acid which helps in regulating formation of RBC and WBC.



Q- Can diabetic patients or heart patients have it?

A- No. But if made without ghee and sugar then yes.
