The Ulcer Diet.

What to eat in Ulcer and what not to ?

Hello everyone.

The reason why I m posting about this is from last 4 months my mother is suffering from Ulcer.

She has already been eating 'no spices' food since childhood but while she was fighting covid she was having black pepper tea twice or thrice a day may be that was the reason including her fasting rituals and too much gap in between meals.

And herein I realised the role of diet in fighting a disease.

Doctors have said that she might have to go for surgery but I was pretty sure that through diet and of course the medicines which doctors suggested it can be recovered.

Though it was Really painful.

But now the situation is much better mainly because of proper diet.

Now the DIET.....

1. Started the day with 2-3 glasses overnight soaked Isabgol.

Some say that we should drink it before sleeping at night but No! It should be taken empty stomach.

2. After 1 hour 2 glasses of Sattu water.

3. Roti + Sabzi ( Potato, Bottle guard, spinach )

The sabzi to be made ONLY in Pressure cooker without oil, tadka, NO chilli at all , no condiments nothing at all . It's just the vegetables + salt + turmeric powder + water .

NO OIL instead add half spoon of home made makhan ( butter ).

4. Rice + Daal ( peeled ) + plain veggie ( bland) + Curd .

5. Steamed sweet corn.( In evening)

I feel that it really made difference.

6. Roti + milk in Night. ( milk is not recommended in case of excessive gas formation).

No spices, no irritants.

She had habit of tea so it was given just for 4-5 sips.

Some Yoga postures which is mandatory are

1. Mandukasana.

2. Bhastrika.

3. Kapalbhati.

4.Pawanmuktasana ( Wind relieving pose steps).

5. Walking.

P.s.  Minimise the gap in between meals.

So by applying these directions the situation of ulcerative colitis can be turned to normal from severe.
