Amla - Winter delight.

Its time for home made delicious Chawanprash once again.


 

Amla ( Indian Gooseberry) is a super food especially for the winter.


By following these simple steps you can make it in your home.


1.Boil Amla in pressure cooker (3-4 whistles).




2. Remove the seeds.




3.  Keep it in mixture and make its paste.







4. Take Ghee in a kadhai and add some jeera , bay leaf ( tezpatta ).





5. Now take jaggery.



6. Mix it with amla in the kadhai




7 . Take dry fruits , cardamom, clove and mix it in mixture. 




8. Mix it all and keep stirring for 10 minutes and it's over!





It is EXTREMELY healthy. 

It will not let the cold wave affect you from inside. 

It has got antioxidants  which fights the external environmental factors. 

It has vitamin C which helps in healing. 

It has vitamin A which is good for eyesight.
